Workshop on Nutritional Security, Drudgery Reduction and Income Generation for Farm Women
ICAR-CRIDA, Hyderabad organized
a "Workshop on Nutritional Security, Drudgery Reduction and Income Generation
for Farm Women" at Gaddamallaiahguda Village, Yacharam Mandal, Rangareddy
District, Telangana on 12th June, 2023. The programme has been conducted as a
side event in G20 Presidency of India. Initially Dr. K. Ravi Shankar, Principal
Scientist (Agril. Extension) & PI of the project briefed about alternate options
for income generations for farm women. During the workshop Dr. K. Sreedevi
Shankar, Principal Scientist (Food & Nutrition) has explained on 'Post-harvest
Management and Value addition in Crops' and Dr.B. Sanjeeva Reddy, Principal
Scientist (Farm Machinery & Power) on 'Drudgery Reducing Farm Implements for
Women Empowerment in Rainfed Agriculture'. The programme was attended by Co-PIs
Dr. C. N. Anshida Beevi, Scientist (Agril. Extension) and Dr. Jagriti Rohit,
Scientist (Agril. Extension).
