Distribution of Redgram (PRG-176) Seeds to farmers of under SCSP programme in Ranga Reddy District .

KVK Staff Dr. D Sudheer and Shri. P. Ramakrishna, Technical Officer along with local agricultural officers, NGO representatives and village surpanch distributed Redgram (PRG-176) certified seeds to SC farmers in Chowdarpally village of Yacharam mandal, Kolanguda village of Kandukur Mandal, Muddemguda Village of Shabad Mandal and Manchal (Vill & Mdl) in the Rangareddy District, Telangana on 15th & 16th June, 2023. The seeds were provided under SCSP programme free of cost to the SC farmers to promote pulses cultivation and increase the protein consumption at household level. The team explained about the package of practices in detail to the farmers and assured monitoring of the redgram fields after sowing by the KVK and agricultural department officials from time to time.
