The ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad conducted Swacchta Pakhwada in the Pipri village, Inderavelly mandal of Adilabad under the umbrella of Sub Tribal Component. From ICAR-CRIDA, CAO (HG), CFAO, Nodal Officer,

TSP and other members of TSP team were present during the event. The method demonstration of vermicompost preparation in Vermibed using kitchen waste, dried leaves were explained to the villagers. Later role of residue decomposer for residue decomposition was also explained to them. Both vermibed and residue decomposer were distributed to the farmers for keeping the village clean.

The farmers were also appraised about the importance of cleanliness on human and animal health in the villages. More than 100 farmers participated in the event with 37 women farmers.
