ICAR-CRIDA participated in the exhibition to celebrate the 96th foundation and technology day of ICAR during 15-16 July, 2024. During this occasion, Climate resilient agriculture theme stall was present on behalf of Natural Resource management division of ICAR

CRIDA displayed its climate resilient villages model along with the Horsegram varieties at its stall. Various literature pertaining to climate resilient agricultural technologies of different states were also displayed at the counter.

On 15 July, 2024 Honorable Director General ICAR Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Deputy director (NRM) Dr. S.K Chaudhari and directors of various ICAR institutes visited the stall. Later during the day, school children also visited the exhibitions and were exposed to different agricultural technology.

On July 16, 2024 Exhibition was formally inaugurated by Shri. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare & Rural Development and President of ICAR Society.

He visited the exhibition stalls and were apprised about the recent agricultural development. Dr. V.K Singh, Director ICAR-CRIDA was also present at the stall for briefing the Union Minister about CRIDA’s achievements. Dr. G Nirmala Principal Scientist (Agril. Extn.) and Dr. Jagriti Rohit Scientist (Agril. Extn.) represented the institution during the exhibition.
