A team of Scientist of ICAR-CRIDA, Hyderabad visited Chindanur and Hanuman Nagar villages in Shadipur mandal of Chincholi Taluk under SCSP on June 24, 2024. An interaction meeting was held wherein the farmers gave their feedback on the various interventions conducted in their villages.

Shri Bhajan Singh, Vice President of Hanuman Nagar Village was present on the occasion. About 100 farmers attended the meeting. During the session, Dr. R V Adake, Principal Scientist (FMP) discussed about the Kharif plans for the village. He also spoke about the benefits of group approach and agricultural implements in the present agricultural context.

Dr. V Maruthi Principal Scientist (Agronomy) explain the farmers about the package of practices for maize (RCRMH-2) and redgram varieties which was being distributed.

Dr. Savitha Santhosh Scientist (Microbiology) demonstrated the biofertilizer application to the farmers.

Dr. Jagriti Rohit Scientist (Agril. Extn.) discussed about the benefits of Self-Help Group and motivated the women farmer to form a SHG. Later on, Maize seed along with biofertilizer was distributed in Chindanur and Redgram sees with biofertilizer in Hanuman nagar.
