A technology demonstration on “converting waste to wealth” and “safe disposal of all kinds of wastes” was held at ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad on 17th December, 2024 as part of Swacchta Pakhwada.

Dr. Priya P. Gurav, Scientist (Soil Science) demonstrated compost making from household kitchen wastes. After that participants themselves practised compost making with the locally available materials. The programme was attended by around 50 members including scientists, supporting staff and labourers.
