Brief Bio

    Dr. K Venkateswara Rao has been with CRIDA, Hyderabad since 1997. Over the years, he has been involved in various research/ consultancy projects dealing with Watersheds, Prioritisation of rainfed areas, District Agriculture Contingency Plans, Micro Irrigation projects evaluation, Development of sustainable soil and land management practices, Drought monitoring and management etc. Dr. Rao’s contributions to DACPs, Drought Monitoring & Management, Rainfed area’s prioritisation, studies of Meso scale watersheds have been recognized both nationally and internationally.
