Krishi Vigyan Kendra-Ranga Reddy District, ICAR- CRIDA, Hyderabad organized training cum Input distribution in KVK adopted villages (Regadidoswada, Thirumalapur, Muddemguda) of Shabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy district from 27th -29th February, 2024. Later distributed Input of concentrate supplemental feed, Area specific mineral mixture to 33 identified SC beneficiaries under SC subplan. Dr.K. B Sridhar In charge Head KVK grace the occasion explained about importance of fodder crops and its role in animal nutrition, advice the dairy farmers to utilize benefit of KVK services for wellbeing of dairy farming community.
Dr.D. Sudheer, SMS (Veterinary Science) anchored the programme and explained the importance of the selection of good milk breeds, Housing Management, Fodder Production Technologies, Disease Management, Marketing of Milk and Value addition of Dairy Products. During three days farmers visited HRF fodder cafeteria, KVK Livestock Demonstration Units, NARMUL Dairy Processing and Cooperative Society at Hayatnagar, Dairy Experimental Station, Feed Preparation, Waste to Wealth management through Dairy facilities and farmers also got opportunity to visit Small Ruminants section and Poultry farm facilities at College of Veterinary Science-Rajendranagar and All SMS of KVK, RAWEP B.Sc ( Ag) students also participated in the programme.
