As a part of Swachhta Bharat Mission, ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture will be organising Swachhta Hi Seva from 15 September to 2nd October 2024.As per the action plan, the Swachhta Hi seva activities were implemented on 15th September 2024 with display of banners at main office ICAR-CRIDA, Hayatnagar Research Farm (HRF) and Gungal Research Farm (GRF).

Dr.V.K.Singh Director, ICAR-CRIDA administered the Swachhta pledge to about 75 members including employees of the institute and students of Mega University, Hub ICAR-CRIDA, Hyderabad and urged the employees and students to adopt the swachhta as part of their routine activities and to maintain the premises of the institute clean throughout the year.

Dr R.Nagarjuna Kumar, Principal Scientist and Nodal Officer for Swachhta Hi Seva, briefed the employees about the activities being planned during Swachhta Hi Seva from 15 September to 2nd October 2024. During the fortnight, various activities like awareness programme, cleanliness, debate competition,etc are being planned at main office, Tribal Sub Plan(TSP),SCSP, Farmers First and KVK adopted villages in different mandals with an aim of creating awareness about the swachhata in the farming community.
