A demonstration was organized by ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad at Guddamalaiguda Village, Yacharam Mandal, Rangareddy District as part of Swachhta Pakhwada. Initially, Dr. Girija Veni, Scientist (Soil Science) delivered a session on the environmental impacts of plastic use.

She also highlighted the importance of using kitchen waste to prepare organic manure and demonstrated the process of making manure from kitchen waste, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and waste management as an on the spot technology solution.

After that, a cleanliness drive was organized at the local vegetable market. The team focused on cleaning the area and promoting proper waste disposal practices to maintain a hygienic environment.
