On 7th October 2025, 13 officials of Deendayal Anyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY- NRLM) from 5 states, representing Kerala, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh, presently attached to National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayat Raj(NIRDPR), Rajendranagar, visited KVK-Ranga Reddy of the ICAR- Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) in Hyderabad to acquire hands-on experience in various cattle, sheep, and goat breeds, Fodder Production Technologies of HRF farm, Silage making in Silage Polypropylene bags.

Dr. Chandrakant M. H, Senior Scientist and Head of KVK, along with the SMS (Veterinary Science), briefed the Officials about KVK activities.

The Officials were familiarized with various KVK activities, such as the Fodder Cafeteria, Osmanabadi goat breed, Deccani, Nellore sheep breeds, Livestock demo unit, Silage making in polypropylene bags, and innovative practices implemented by KVK in large and small ruminants, backyard poultry farming for empowering the rural poor by creating sustainable, diversified livelihoods through livestock.
