A Regional training on “Sustainable Land Management Practices in Semi-Arid Tropics for Climate Resilience” is organizing by ICFRE-Institute of Forest Biodiversity, Hyderabad in association with ICAR-Central Institute for DrylandAgriculture, Hyderabad from 05th-07th march, 2025 at ICAR-CRIDA
The training was sponsored by Centre for Excellence (CoE-SLM), ICFRE, Dehradun. The aim of the training is to train the regional officials and researchers involved in Land Restoration and allied areas.
The programme was inaugurated today at ICAR-CRIDA.Shri Vinay Kumar, IFS, Director, CoE-SLM acted as Chief Guest for inaugural session. Shri E. Venkat Reddy, IFS, Director, ICFRE-IFB, Hyderabad, Dr. S. K. Bal, Director (in-charge), ICARCRIDA, and Head of Divisions of ICFRE-IFB and ICAR-CRIDA were present in the inaugural sessions. The participants of the training are Forest Divisional & Range Officers, Field Officials of SLUSI, Hyderabad, Officials of TGIRD, faculty of ETC, Scientists and Assistant Professors.
