Three days training program was organised by CRIDA and IFFCO from 23rd to 25th of May 2025 at ICAR-CRIDA on NANO fertilizers usage and its importance. The programme started with lighting of lamp followed by welcome address by T Chandra babu, Field Officer of Siddipet.

Then Dr. V.K.Singh Director ICAR-CRIDA given inaugural address of this training programme. Director emphasised the importance of various IFFCO products. He also said that farmers need to adopt change towards progress and to tune towards Nano fertilizers for efficient fertilizer use with reduced environmental foot prints.

Shri.MR. Krupashankar, State marketing manager IFFCO, Telangana informed the farmers that they are providing free insurance for crop with the purchase of Nano fertilizers

The topics like integrated pest management, integrated nutrient management with nano fertilisers of selected crops like chilli, maize, and sunflower pertaining to the district of Siddipet were discussed by the scientists of CRIDA.

The lecture on Integrated nutrient management with Nano fertilizers on Maize, Sunflower and Chilli” was delivered by Dr. V. Girijaveni, Senior scientist at CRIDA. Another lecture on “Integrated pest management with Nano fertilizers on Maize, Sunflower and Chilli” was delivered by Dr. T.V. Prasad, Principal scientist at CRIDA followed by lecture on Research experiences on Nano fertilizers by Dr. K.A.Gopinath, Principal scientist at CRIDA, Hyderabad.

45 Farmers from Siddipet were participated in the training. The other dignitaries attended were: Ms Sri Laxmi, ASD, MKCO and state office officials of IFFCO Telangana. Training program also involved field visits, feedback session.
