Second batch of one-day training programme under the Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Jan Seva Programme was successfully conducted at ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (ICAR-CRIDA), Hyderabad on 04th February, 2026.
The programme was attended by 29 participants including Director CRIDA, CAO(SG), CFAO, Heads of Divisions, Scientists In-Charges, scientists, technical and administrative staff. Dr. V.K.Singh Director CRIDA highlighted the vision and objectives of Mission Karmayogi, emphasizing the transformation of civil services through continuous learning, professionalism, and ethical public service. Dr. V.K. Singh, stressed the role of government employees in nation building.
The programme is intended to enable officers to rediscover the spirit of Seva Bhav and contribute for the nation building. Dr. K. Nagasree, Principal Scientist (Agril. Extension), ICAR-CRIDA and Dr. Chitra Shankar, Principal Scientist (Entomology) ICAR-IIRR were the Master Trainers
Participants actively took part in discussions and shared their experiences, which contributed to a better understanding of public service values and institutional responsibilities. The sessions fostered awareness about behavioral, functional, and domain competencies essential for effective governance
The training included four modules namely, Who is a Rashtriya Karmayogi, Expanding our Vision of Success and Fulfilment, Creating Karmayogi Moments and The Rashtriya Karmayogi as a Nation-Builder.
The sessions focused on value-based public service, personal and professional growth, and the role of Karmayogis in nation building. The programme included interactive discussions, assessments, and feedback sessions
Overall, the Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Program at ICAR–CRIDA was a meaningful and impactful initiative that contributed to capacity building and reinforced the values of dedicated and efficient public service among the participants.
Participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative and acknowledged its usefulness in strengthening their commitment to quality public service. . The programme concluded successfully with the final assessment and generation of certificates.
