ICAR–Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (ICAR–CRIDA), Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Ranga Reddy organized an Awareness Programme on VB GRAM G on 03 January 2026 at Vikarabad District, Telangana, under the vision of Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin).

The Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Bill, 2025 (VB GRAM G) has been introduced to modernize rural employment by enhancing the wage employment guarantee to 125 days per household, promoting durable asset creation, strengthening rural infrastructure, and ensuring sustainable livelihoods in line with the Viksit Bharat vision.

As part of the programme, farmers actively participated in awareness activities and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji for the additional 25 days of guaranteed employment, reflecting their trust in pro-farmer policies and rural development initiatives.
