Farmers from Ranga Reddy District actively participated in the Second International Conference on Rainfed Agriculture: Building Pathways for Resilience & Sustainable Livelihood, held from 29th to 31st January 2025 at ICAR-CRIDA , Santhoshanagar, Hyderabad. The event was organized by the Indian Society of Dryland Agriculture (ISDA) and the ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA).
It featured a series of lectures and farmer-scientist interactions focusing on improved management practices in agriculture, horticulture and livestock. Scientists from CRIDA and Subject Matter Specialists (SMSs) from KVK coordinated the sessions, providing valuable insights to the participants.
Additionally, an exhibition showcased the advanced agricultural technologies, offering farmers practical knowledge on enhancing productivity. The conference benefited around 720 farmers, equipping them with innovative solutions for sustainable farming in rainfed conditions.
