On 23rd June 2025, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Ranga Reddy District, under ICAR-CRIDA, organized a farmers’ interaction program to provide technical guidance and crop-specific recommendations for the upcoming Kharif season. As part of the action plan, improved seed varieties were distributed for On-Farm Trials (OFTs) to assess varietal performance. In chilli, the varieties Arka Tejasvi and Arka Tanvi were provided, while in tomato, Arka Samrat and Arka Apeksha were distributed. Additionally,
under the Cluster Frontline Demonstration (CFLD) on pulses, redgram variety TDRG 49 was supplied to 30 farmers to promote improved cultivation practices. Recommendations were also shared on animal health and fodder management to support livestock productivity during the season. As part of the program, diagnostic field visits were conducted in tomato, chilli and brinjal fields in Manthen Gourelly and Nallavelly villages of Yacharam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to identify field-level issues and provide solutions to farmers.
