  • Awarded HEH Nizams Gold Medal for securing first rank in M.Sc.(Ag.) during 1986-88
  • Awarded Senior fellowship by CSIR in 1989, for prosecuting Ph.D.
  • NUFFIC fellow ship for undergoing training at International Agricultural Center, Wageningen, The Netherlands
  • Fulbright Nehru Environment leadership Programme for executing project entitled "Life cycle analysis and Environmental impact assessment of conservation agricultural strategies”
  • Fellowship from USEIF and CIES to participate in The SCA Regional Fulbright Alumni Conference. Adapting to Change: Fulbrighters perspectives on South and Central Asian Socities at Nepal and present a paper Conservation agriculture – A new paradigm for climate change mitigation in rainfed Indian agriculture.
