A Scientist - farmers interaction meet under Tribal sub-plan
A Scientist - farmers interaction meet was conducted in 5 adopted
villages of Gudi Akhnoor and Indraveli mandal of Adilabad under Tribal sub-plan
on 22-06-2023, where Dr.P.K.Pankaj, Principal Scientist (LPM) and Dr. B.K. Alam,
Scientist (GPB) from ICAR - CRIDA, Hyderabad have appraised the farmers about
contingency plan, livestock management and precautions to be taken during
monsoon season. The farmers were also discussed for good management practices in
livestock. A total of 1100 chicks of Srinidhi, Grampriya, Vanraja and Kadaknath
varieties were given to farmers for scientific rearing. There is an intensified
activity from ICAR-CRIDA to make these villages agriculturally sustainable and
nutrient secure.
